Ronaldo led Portugal were in a different mood yesterday as they beat Uruguay 2-0 to go top of Group H. Fernandes scored two goals for Portugal, thanks to which they were able to win 2-0.
Bruno Fernandes scored the first goal for his team, which went straight into the net. Ronaldo also tried to touch that goal with his header, but due to no touch, the goal went to Fernandes and he was awarded Man of the Match.
Uruguay's poor performance raised their concerns about qualifying for Group of 16 after a crushing 2-0 loss against Portugal. Uruguay will need to beat Ghana to qualify for Group 16 and hope South Korea fails to win in South Korea vs Portugal match which is going to happen on Dec 2nd..

Portugal got their second goal in the form of a penalty, which Fernandes cleverly converted and gave his team a very good 2-0 victory, thanks to which they managed to get 3 points and the group May 16 ripened in its place.
