1. Information We Do NOT Collect
We believe in strict data minimization. The App operates as a client-side media utility tool:
- No Personal Identifiable Information (PII): We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, or personal identity records.
- No Account Required: You do not need to register or log into an account to use the application.
- No Tracking or Profiling: We do not build user behavioral profiles or track users across third-party applications.
2. Storage and Media Processing Permissions
To deliver its core functionality, the App requests specific system permissions on your Android device:
- Storage Access Framework (SAF) / MediaStore: Used solely to locate WhatsApp status files on your local device and save selected media directly to your public gallery directory (
DCIM/AadinSaver). - No Cloud Media Storage: Downloaded and viewed media files remain strictly stored on your local device storage. We do not store, copy, or host your downloaded media files on any external database or private cloud servers.
3. Video Link Processing (URL Downloader)
When you provide a public video link to download media:
- The link URL is sent securely via HTTPS to our backend processing endpoint to extract the public direct media stream.
- No user personal credentials, cookies, or account passwords are required or collected during this extraction.
- Temporary video download artifacts stored on the extraction server during stream conversion are automatically purged and not retained.
4. Third-Party Services
The App may utilize trusted third-party open-source libraries and standard runtime dependencies:
- Jetpack Media3 (ExoPlayer): For smooth in-app video playback.
- Coil: For efficient local image and video thumbnail rendering.
5. User Responsibility and Fair Use
Users must comply with all applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Please respect the ownership and intellectual property rights of content owners before saving, sharing, or reposting any media.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any revisions will be published directly on this page with an updated "Effective Date".
