The only League One team still competing is Charlton Athletic after their fourth-round win over Brighton on penalties on Wednesday. After a scoreless draw, Charlton, who last played in the Premier League in 2007, defeated Brighton & Hove Albion on penalties, earning a trip to 20-time English champions Manchester United, who defeated Burnley 2-0 to advance to the round of eight.
Manchester City, an eight-time champion, will take on Southampton after eliminating league leaders Liverpool in a nail-biting 3-2 match.

Newcastle will play Leicester City, while Nottingham Forest will host Wolves.
Saints, who eliminated League One Lincoln in the fourth round, will try to prevent City from winning their eighth Carabao Cup in the past ten years.United last won the Carabao Cup in 2017, and they currently have a strong chance of winning it all this year.
