South Korea became the third team from Asia to go to the round of 16
Uruguay and Ghana out of World Cup 2022, South Korea reaches knockouts
In Eduatcion City Stadium,Qatar South Korea played a very good game against Portugal and beat Portugal 2-1 to seal their place in the Group of 16.
In the 5th minute of the start of the match, Portugal's Ricardo Horta took the lead and put South Korea in worry, but then Kim Young-gwon put South Korea back in the game with a goal in the 27th minute.
Uruguay, on the other hand, had a 2-goal lead against Ghana and kept their knockout hopes alive.

Due to these 2 goals of Uruguay, South Korea's hopes of going into the knockouts were shattered, but then in the extra time of the game i.e. 90+1 minutes, Hwang Hee-chan showed his magic and scored a brilliant and amazing goal for Portugal. Against and then made its place in second place with 4 points.
Now the wait for South Korea was, Ghana did not allow Uruguay to score 2 more goals and something similar happened. Uruguay beat Ghana by 2-0 but due to only 2 goals from Uruguay, they had to go out of the World Cup 2022 Qatar and along with their Ghana Had to be taken as well and South Korea reached the Round of 16.
