The FIFA World Cup is on its last leg and today the third quarter final was played between 2018 FIFA World Champion France and 2022 FIFA Group E topper Poland was quite interesting and worth watching as France Beat Poland by 3-1. There was no place for the happiness of the fans of Poland, and there was disappointment in fans, but this is a game and we will see this in every FIFA match.

In this quarter final match played at Al Thumama Stadium, Kylian MBappe looked very strong while on the other hand, Robert Lewandowski was seen struggling for the goal.

Coming to France, they defeated Australia and Denmark to qualify for the Round of 16 from Group D. After their defeat from Tunisia, manager Didier Deschamp's boys did not let their confidence down and went into the match in high spirits.

Poland, led by Robert Lewandowski, looked very weak in this World Cup, even getting into the Round of 16 was becoming difficult for them, but with the help of Saudi Arabia's late goal against Mexico, Poland was able to travel to the Group of 16. Poland made 2 changes today after their 2-0 loss to Argentina Kaminski and Szymanski replaced Bielik and Swiderski.

Poland got a free kick in the 32nd minute after the match kick-off, but Poland could not take advantage of it. In the 44th minute, Olivier Giround scored his team's first goal to give France a 1-0 lead, much to the dismay of the Polish fans. Olivier Giround scored his 52nd goal for France to overtake Henry (51) as the nation's all-time record international scorer.

At half time the score was 1-0 France vs Poland

The highest goal scorer of FIFA 2022, Kylian Mbappe made his mark in the 74th minute by scoring the second goal of the game in the top left corner. With this goal, Poland's hopes started to crumble and along with the Polish players, the fans' faces also began to wither.

90 minutes were completed but 5 minutes of extra time were given and Kylian Mbappe scored another goal in 90 + 1 minutes to take his team to the quarterfinals with his name and swag.

90+2 minutes and very interesting game to see when Robert Lewandowski is awarded a penalty and that too after VAR check Robert Lewandowski takes full advantage of it and scores his team's first goal of the match and save his team from getting shamefull loss of 3-0 .But this goal, which came for Poland, did not save them from a 3-1 defeat against France, nor from being eliminated from the FIFA World Cup.
