Benoit Badiashile, a defender for Monaco, has been signed by Chelsea to a long-term deal, according to a statement.
Despite the arrivals of Kalidou Koulibaly and Wesley Fofana during the summer, Chelsea have continued with widespread January additions at both centre-back and in other areas of the pitch
Despite the fact that Andrey Santos is shortly anticipated to follow David Datro Fofana, rumours surrounding Badiashile have drawn the greatest interest due to the French international's long-standing fans at numerous Premier League teams.
The 21-year-old has officially transferred to Stamford Bridge, although the Premier League team has not divulged the amount involved.
But at the beginning of the year, it was widely believed that Badiashile was scheduled for a Chelsea physical following an alleged £33.6 million transfer fee agreement with Monaco.
According to reports, Badiashile signed a seven-and-a-half-year contract that would keep him with the West Londoners till the year 2030.

Badiashile leaves Monaco with a total of 106 Ligue 1 appearances under his belt along with an additional 29 appearances in other leagues.
Although Badiashile was not selected for France's World Cup squad, he played twice for Les Bleus in September's UEFA Nations League matches.
Theoretically, Badiashile might be a candidate for Sunday's FA Cup match between Chelsea and Manchester City. Although Badiashile may not be able to make his debut until the London derby against Fulham on January 12 due to Chelsea playing the same opponents on Thursday night and the limited ability to train with the first team on those days.
